Everything You Need to Know About ESGI Kindergarten Pre-Assess Accounts

What are ESGI Pre-Assess Accounts? 

Pre-Assess Accounts are available to ESGI customers free of charge and allow teachers and administrators to screen students for Kindergarten. Pre-Assess Accounts are available for a limited time and give schools the data to create balanced classrooms and allocate resources for the upcoming year.  

How do they differ from ESGI Teacher Accounts?   

ESGI Pre-Assess Accounts allow for more students to be tested, and the accounts are only open for a short time in the spring. The account operates in a similar way to Teacher Accounts but provides a shared login and allows schools to screen all incoming Kindergarten students.  

How can I use the data from Kindergarten screening? 

Once all incoming Kindergarten students are added and assessed in the Pre-Assess Account, administrators can run the Class Totals Report. This allows teachers and administrators to easily review and rank incoming student scores to create balanced classes. 

How does it differ from traditional assessment methods? 

Unlike traditional methods that involve manual scoring and paperwork, ESGI for Kindergarten screening automates much of the process. Teachers can create tailored assessments, administer them digitally, and instantly analyze results among your whole screening team.
